STOLEN

Stolen, formerly known as Medallion is Jesse Kennedy, Matthew Joynes, Rene Beson‘s film which starring by a famous actor, Nicolas Cage. This film is a 2012 American action thriller with duration 96 minutes. The screenplay was written by David Guggenheim. This film is premier in United State and directed by Simon West. Released on September 14, 2012 and the language is English. The budget of this film is $35 million.

The film was begun when a thief team had a plan to steal a bank. Nicolas cage as Will was the boss in his thief team. They could cheat the police until they got $10 million from the bank. Unfortunately, the police realize that the thieves had stolen the bank and directly pursue the thieves. Will and his team try to escape, but accidentally Will shoot his friend’s feet, Vincent. Then he brought Vincent to the car. When Will took the money, the police come. His friends left him alone and he tried to escape with other car that he found. He was caught by the police. To lose the proof, he burned all the money. Then Will got punishment 8 years in prison.

Every screen shows some scrappy moments and some places in U.S. An interesting moment is when Will stole the bank, he call his daughter and said that he love his daughter. It show how the father’s love to his daughter even though the father will do something dangerous. The interesting moment is also in the ending film when Will success to steal many bars of gold’s in the bank. Then he tries to save his daughter from Vincent until he can save her daughter and throw away all of the golds to the sea. The bad moment is when Will fighting with his friend, Hoyt. Then Will killed him.

In my opinion, this film is very good and scrappy. The actors and actresses play the role with good. Production design, visual effect and setting are interesting. Music also propels the film. In this film, there is much violence, like when Will was fighting with his friends to save his daughter. This film is also about thieving. So, it is not suitable for kids and teenagers. But I like it so much. From this film, we can learn that the badness will bring the sorrow. It is proved when Will want to stole the gold, his daughter is in dangerous, even though he can save his daughter.I recommended you to watch this film.
